India, the most successful nation at the Under-19 level, won the 14th ICC Men's U-19 Cricket World Cup for a record-extending fifth time, defeating England by four wickets in the final at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium here.
After Raj Bawa (5/31) and Ravi Kumar (4/34) bowled England out for 189 despite James Rew's fighting 95, India scored half-centuries by Shaik Rasheed (50) and Nishant Sindhu (50 not out) to reach 195/6 in 47.4 overs and win the match by four wickets.
In addition to winning five championships, India has gained three times: in 2006, 2016, and 2020.
In the third edition of the tournament, India won for the first time in 2000, when Mohammad Kaif's side defeated hosts Sri Lanka by six wickets in Colombo.

In 2022, India was awarded their fifth U19 World Cup championship.
