In response, the Afghan batsmen successfully chased down the total with 10.1 overs remaining and 8 wickets in hand, earning two significant points for their team.

Speaking of Bangladesh, they have also unveiled a formidable-looking squad for the competition, with experienced all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan serving as the team's captain. Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman, two of Bangladesh's top pacers, are also available to Team Bangladesh. If their team hopes to achieve history by winning the Asia Cup for the first time, batsmen like Shakib, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mahmudullah will need to be at the top of their game.
