Australia defeated England by 72 runs in their second One-Day International on Saturday at the SCG in Sydney. The victory allowed the hosts to go up 2-0 in the three-match series.
They bowled out England for 208 in 38.5 overs while defending a target of 281 runs. Sam Billings scored 71 runs off of 80 balls in his innings. Mitchell Santner and Adam Zampa, who both collected four-wicket hauls, were also in excellent form.
Batting first, Australia scored 280 for eight in five overs, thanks to Steve Smith's 94 runs off 114 balls. Adil Rashid, on the other hand, claimed three wickets for England.
