In just 44 minutes, Fernandez defeated Martina Trevisan 6-0, 6-0, providing support for Andreescu. In doubles, Fernandez and Gabriela Dabrowski were merciless, eliminating Lucia Bronzetti and Jasmine Paolini 6-1, 6-1 in in 46 minutes.
