Dujuan Richards has been signed by Chelsea, a young Jamaican attacker who will join the club when he turns 18 in October. Chelsea has quietly completed the recruitment of some of the most promising young players in football in addition to high-profile additions. Among the names who have relocated to Stamford Bridge are Andrey Santos and Cesare Casadei. Dujuan 'Whisper' Richards, another recent gem who has done the same and will join the Blues in the summer of 2023, has signed a pre-agreement with the club.
Richards, who is a student at the Phoenix All Stars Academy in Kingston, earned his senior Jamaica debut against Trinidad & Tobago in March. He achieved impressive performances with the Kingston College, scoring thirty-one goals and providing nineteen assists in the Manning Cup. He faced Qatar this month and faced the same opposition in his debut start for his nation. Richards has been selected for Jamaica's Concacaf Gold Cup team. Later on Saturday in Chicago, Jamaica plays the United States in their first Group A match.
