The biggest opportunity for Croatia in the first half came from a corner that eventually found Mateo Kovacic's head in the 26th minute, but he was unable to put his shot on goal.
Croatia concluded their group stage campaign against bottom-placed Austria, who on Thursday fell to France 2-0 in Paris. The French team will be seeking retribution when they play the Danes in Copenhagen on Sunday after losing the initial match.
