Declan Rice's transfer to Arsenal is almost complete, and if certain add-ons materialise, Arsenal might spend more than £100 million for the midfielder.
Rice's departure has been agreed by West Ham, and Arsenal is prepared to make him the most expensive player in club history. Although a bid has not yet been submitted, negotiations between the teams are going well, and there is optimism that a deal will be reached shortly.
Rice is now Arsenal's main target, and there won't be any problems on a personal level. They want to pay roughly £90 million for the 24-year-old and are acting rapidly to make sure the deal goes through without a hitch. West Ham has requested add-ons that would increase the price to over £100 million because they want to make as much money as possible.
West Ham are looking at replacements for Rice and are interested in Ajax’s Edson Álvarez, Fulham’s João Palhinha and Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse.
