The team for England's fourth Ashes Test match against Australia has been announced. The winning team from the Leeds Test has kept the same lineup, and they will be practising for the Manchester Test with the same group of players.
After winning the third Test, England finally opened their account as the series currently stands at 2-1 in favour of the visitors. Jonny Bairstow made numerous mistakes behind the stumps in the previous game, but the wicketkeeper-batter has been given a heads up for the next game as he will continue to wear the gloves. Despite a respectable start to the Ashes, Bairstow's recent performances caused his average to drop.
England have stuck to their winning squad as the Ben Stokes-led side would be eager to win the forthcoming Test and level the series 2-2, so as to take the Ashes 2023 to the decider.
England's squad for fourth Test:
Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali, James Anderson, Jonathan Bairstow, Stuart Broad, Harry Brook, Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Dan Lawrence, Ollie Robinson, Joe Root, Josh Tongue, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood
