The much anticipated Ashes 2023 will begin with two Test matches, and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has picked a 16-player squad. Notably, the selection committee kept the same lineup from the one-off Test against Ireland at London's Lord's Cricket Ground.
On June 12, the English red-ball team will depart for Birmingham once the lone Test versus the Irish team is finished. The team will start its practise sessions at Edgbaston on Tuesday, June 13, after reporting to the location.
The opening Test between England and Australia is scheduled to begin on June 16 at Edgbaston in Birmingham. On June 28, the second Test will be held at Lord's in London.
