Rune won his first ATP Tour championship at the BMW Open by American Express in Munich without dropping a set, climbing 25 places to 45th in the world.
In January, the 19-year-old broke into the Top 100 of the ATP Rankings for the first time.
In the second round of the championships, Rune defeated first seed Alexander Zverev, giving him his first top ten win. He celebrated his 19th birthday throughout the event, losing only two games in a thrilling quarter-final victory over Emil Ruusuvuori.
Oscar Otte, a German hope, was unable to halt Rune in the semi-finals, but he did enough to rise up the ranks to 53rd place. After the Dutchman resigned early in the match while ahead 4-3, Rune defeated Botic van de Zandschulp in the final.
Van de Zandschulp, who jumped nine places to 31st, is the second notable mover on the list.
Van de Zandschulp defeated Casper Ruud in straight sets before a sad finish to the BMW Open in Munich. He'd also have to beat Miomir Kecmanovic, who had taken Novak Djokovic to three sets in the Serbian Open final the week before but had to withdraw due to serious chest symptoms.
