Harmanpreet Kaur, India's all-rounder, and T20 captain have been selected as part of Cricket Australia's (CA) "Team of the Tournament" for the Women's Big Bash League-7 (WBBL-7).
Sophie Devine of New Zealand, who plays for Perth Scorchers, is the only non-Aussie in the WBBL-7 "Team of the Tournament", nominated as captain.
As a member of the Renegades, Harmanpreet scored 399 runs in 11 innings at an average of 66.5 and a strike rate of 135.25. She scored three half-centuries, including an unbeaten 81.
Her best bowling performance was 3/22. She took 15 wickets at a 20.4% average.
Six players from Australia's most recent national squad are in the "Team of the Tournament," including Jess Jonassen and Amanda-Jade Wellington. Grace Harris and Amanda-Jade Wellington are also on the list.
Former Australian players Lisa Sthalekar and Mel Jones, and national selector Shawn Flegler picked the "Team of the Tournament."
