England finally managed to win their second game of the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023.
Despite going through a bad spell, the reigning champions defeated the Netherlands by 160 runs, displaying their real character in the process.
Jos Buttler led the team. Dawid Malan gave them a great start when he batted first, but wickets kept tumbling from one end. He was dismissed at 87 as well, but England's crisis man Ben Stokes rose to the occasion once more, scoring 108 runs to turn the tide of the match.
Chris Woakes, too scored a half-century as England posted 339 runs on board in the first innings.
The Netherlands were behind from the beginning when it came to the chase. Each of Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid's three wickets decimated their batting unit.
