Moreover, after victories over the West Indies and South Africa, this was India's third victory in the current WTC cycle. England, on the other side, is struggling at eighth place with 21 points.
Australia, the defending world champions, are still at the top of the standings with 66 points. For India to move up in the standings, they now need to win their remaining matches against tEngland team.
