Prior to the international break, Liverpool's 20-game undefeated run in the Premier League came to an end as they were defeated 3-2 by West Ham. With only two points separating them heading into the weekend, and Liverpool's previous three league defeats being against London clubs, it's all the more tempting to welcome Arsenal to Anfield!
Liverpool are currently on a nine-game league home winning streak (W5, D4), after drawing their past two games while leading in each. The Liverpool have won their past five home league H2Hs, scoring at least three times in each of them.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are one of the league's most in-form teams at present, with Mikel Arteta's youth-oriented policy finally reuniting the team's supporters. Their current eight-game win record (W6, D2) is the longest in the Premier League, and the last time they went longer without losing in the top level was from August to December 2018.
Arsenal have pushed themselves to the edge of the top four after the hype about their three defeats to begin the season. For the first time since May 2005, they've maintained three straight PL clean sheets on the road. That's a tough ask given that they've only won one of their previous 12 league meetings with Liverpool (D4, L7)
Players to keep an eye on:
Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has contributed seven goals to PL goals in five home games against Arsenal (G5, A2)
Arsenal's Emile Smith Rowe has scored four of his six PL goals in the first 30 minutes.
Match will be played on 20 November 2021 at 11:00 PM IST
