Manchester United defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford to improve their chances of finishing in the top four after suffering back-to-back Premier League losses.
Anthony Martial had started the scoring in the first half. Alejandro Garnacho added a second in stoppage time to secure a victory that put Manchester United four points ahead of the Reds with three games left in the season.
As the Wolves concluded the game without making a shot on goal, the visitors hardly ever threatened. Manchester United is still in fourth place but is tied with Newcastle for third place on 66 points. Wolves are currently in 13th place.
