Mushfiqur Rahim, Bangladesh's most experienced player, was left out of the T20I squad that will face Pakistan in a three-match series. As a result, the cricketer said the decision didn't surprise him as he wasn't in the preparation camp with his teammates and attended gym sessions on his own. Rahim believed that national selectors didn't discuss things clearly because he didn't make the cut for the first time since 2008.
Considering the four-Test games scheduled against New Zealand and Pakistan, the selector went on to refer to his ignorance. The cricketer, on the other hand, objected to this approach, believing that information should be presented in a simple manner rather than trying to ignore and present in different words.
Rahim explained, "Certainly they should say I'm fired because everyone should tell it like it is because nothing is more important than the team, and I'm just a regular member." Results vary, and everyone should be rated on their ability and fitness. They might have easily stated, "We're thinking of something different and aren't considering you in this series, ‘If they had stated it like way, I would have felt much better about it because at the very least they had shown some respect.’ If they were thinking about the upcoming four-Test matches, they could have said before the World Cup, "We have four Test matches and you can take a break, which would have been suitable because I would have been mentally prepared and could have changed my preparation accordingly, such as playing two rounds of NCL, but they informed me so late that I could not make any preparation plans for the Test matches", added Rahim.
