A 15-player squad for Pakistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup has been released. Shaheen Shah Afridi, a renowned bowler, is rejoining the national team. Due to an injury, the left-arm pacer was unable to compete in the just finished Asia Cup.
The left-arm pacer, who is anticipated to be in good shape, will try to return to form as soon as possible. Along with Shaheen, Naseem Shah, who dazzled everyone at the Asia Cup with his bowling antics, is also a part of the team.
Veteran hitter Shoaib Malik has not been given a chance by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). A knee ailment has forced another senior batter, Fakhar Zaman, who did not have a great experience during the Asia Cup, to join the reserves.
