In the 25th match of the PSL 2022, Multan Sultans will play Quetta Gladiators at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
With 14 points, the Sultans top the points table. They've won seven of their last eight games and have just lost one. In their previous match, they recently defeated Karachi Kings.
The Kings scored 174 runs in their first at-bat. The Sultans faced a difficult assignment, but they were up to it. A solid opening stand followed by bit parts from the lower order helped them ride home with three deliveries to spare. They'll try to match that performance in this match.
Meanwhile, the Quetta Gladiators remain mired in the bottom part of the standings. In eight games, they've only managed three wins and six points. Last time out, they were defeated by Peshawar Zalmi.
Zalmi scored 185 in their allotted 20 overs, while the Gladiators bowlers struggled. Will Smeed was outstanding, only one run short of a century. The Gladiators, however, fell short by 24 runs due to a lack of help on the opposite end.
Gaddafi Stadium has a fantastic pitch. Batting on this surface is enjoyable for batsmen since the ball is easy to control. So far, this venue has seen a lot of high-scoring games, and Friday should be no different.
