In a derby victory against Torino, Paul Pogba made his first Juventus appearance since joining the team again last summer. The midfielder last played on April 19, 2022, 315 days ago, when Manchester United lost 4-0 at Liverpool due to a calf injury. After rejoining Juventus on a free in July, Pogba, 29, had a knee injury that required surgery.
In Tuesday's 4-2 victory, the France international entered the game halfway through the second half. It was his first appearance for Juventus since moving to United in an £89 million move in 2015–16.
For Juventus to defeat their Turin rivals, they had to come from behind twice. Juan Cuadrado and Yann Karamoh tied the score before Antonio Sanabria made it 2-1 for the guests. Juve tied the score in the first half through a header from Danilo. Bremer scored with a header three minutes after Pogba entered the game, and Adrien Rabiot tacked on a late fourth.
