Ralf Rangnick has revealed that Harry Maguire will return to Manchester United's squad for Saturday's match against Brighton, but Marcus Rashford will be absent.
Maguire has missed United's previous three Premier League games after being taken out of the spotlight following bomb threats to his home and then suffering a knee injury.
Rangnick has subsequently stated that his skipper is once again in contention for this weekend's trip to the south coast.
"Harry is back in training, he trained the whole week since the second day after the Brentford game so he will be available for tomorrow and part of the group," he said.
Asked specifically if Maguire would start, Rangnick replied: "This is a decision I have to make after training today, I don't want to tell our opponents the line-up to start."
However, the injury front is not entirely positive. Marcus Rashford is out with a sickness, and Eric Bailly is also doubtful, though the defender was unlikely to play anyway.
"Edinson Cavani is training, he came on as a sub, Marcus Rashford will be missing, he's got bronchitis with a high temperature so he won't be able to be part of the group and we have a question mark on Eric Bailly, he called the doctor this morning and had some back problems and he is being checked right now," Rangnick said. "We will have to see if he will be able to train afterwards."
