Leandro Riedi and Ben Shelton excelled this week on the ATP Challenger Tour's indoor hard court competitions.
Shelton continued his historic Challenger Tour run at the Champaign (Illinois) Challenger, where he won his third consecutive Challenger title and extended his match-winning streak to 15. Switzerland's Riedi advanced through qualifying en route to winning his first Challenger title at the Helsinki Challenger.
At the HPP Open in Finland, Riedi defeated Czech Tomas Machac 6-3, 6-1 in the championship match. The 20-year-old won the Challenger 90 competition after seven victories in eight days. The victory in Helsinki propels Riedi to an all-time high position of 197 in the Pepperstone ATP Rankings.
