Shakib Al Hasan, Bangladesh's T20I captain, will not be available for the UAE tour, according to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). After their three-day training camp at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium was canceled due to heavy rain, BCB recently announced a two-match T20I series in the UAE beginning on September 25. Before leaving for the UAE on Thursday, September 22, all the chosen players must pass two fitness tests at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, according to BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin.
On September 25 and 27, Bangladesh will play two T20 Internationals before departing for home on September 28. Then, on October 7, they will fly to New Zealand for a triangular T20I series with Pakistan. Shakib will go to New Zealand with the team since he has a NOC from the board through October 4.
