India scored 187-4 in 19.5 overs thanks to Yadav's 69 off 36 balls and a 104-run partnership with Virat Kohli off just 62 deliveries. Kohli hit a 48-ball 63. Hardik Pandya struck an unbeaten 25 off 16 as India prevailed in a tense finish in the third T20I against Australia to seal the series 2-1.
Australia was asked to bat first at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium and they scored 186-7 owing to quick-fire half-centuries from Cameron Green (52) and Tim David (54). Cameron Green powered Australia's blazing start while Tim David engineered a good finish to the innings after the visitors had lost their way in the middle overs. Australia gave India some nervous moments towards the end but the hosts got over the line with a delivery to spare.
