ACC's U19 Asia Cup takes place in the United Arab Emirates between December 23 and January 1 in 2021. India's All-India Junior Selection Committee has named a strong 20-member squad for the tournament. The captain of the team is Yash Dhull.
As one of the leading run-scorers in the 2021-22 Vinoo Mankad Trophy, Dhull was among the top scorers. In the event, Yash Dhull scored 302 runs from five matches at an average of 75.50 and a strike rate of 103.42.
He also scored a century and a half-century, his best score being 129 against Chhattisgarh in Mohali. He hits nine fours and three sixes. Dhull was fifth in runs scored in the tournament.
From December 11 to 19, 2021, there will be a training camp at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru with a 25-man squad. In addition to the 20 players from the U19 squad, five more have been added.
India has won the U19 Asia Cup seven out of eight times.
