India and Afghanistan are going to face each other on November 03, 2021. Indian team is in deep trouble as they have lost both their matches against Pakistan and New Zealand.
If India loses today against Afghanistan, they will officially be knocked out of the competition. The Afghans, led by Mohammad Nabi have a better chance of qualifying for the semis. They have won their previous game against Scotland by 62 runs and got their net run rate up to 3.097.
Former English cricketer Monty Panesar feels that there is a divide in the Indian camp and that MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Ravi Shatri aren’t on the same page.
“India can still qualify. They can still turn it around. But it needs a lot of things and all will depend on Virat, Ravi, and Dhoni. Virat, Ravi, and Dhoni need to be on the same page. I believe they are not,” said Monty Panesar in an interview with Times of India.
“People will remember Virat as a great batsman and massive chaser but will always criticize him as a leader because he couldn’t do anything when the team was under crisis and he failed to turn it around. India need to win all the three games massively,” added Panesar.
