Mankind Pharma, a pharmaceutical company, has chosen to honor 20 Indian athletes who came close to winning medals in the recently concluded Tokyo Olympic 2020 by awarding each of them Rs 11 lakh to encourage their perseverance and hard work.
Mankind Pharma said in a statement that the business recognizes the athletes' struggles and has come forward to praise and acknowledge their passion.
Each of the Women's Hockey team's 16 players will get an award of Rs. 11 lakh. It further stated that boxer Satish Kumar, wrestler Deepak Punia, shooter Saurabh Chaudhary, and golfer Aditi Ashok will each receive an award of Rs. 11 lakh.
