Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh may be seen hitting sixes all around the park once again as the southpaw has hinted coming back from his retirement.
Posting a clasp on Instagram that highlighted his best batting execution in his ODI career in a match against England at the Barabati Stadium in Odisha's Cuttack where he had scored 150, Yuvraj dropped the clue that he would make a comeback at some point around February or one year from now.
“God decides your destiny !!On public demand il be back on the pitch hopefully in February ! Ain’t nothing like this feeling ! Thank you for your love and wishes mean a lot to me ! Keep supporting it’s our team and a true fan will show his or her support in tough times #jaihind,” posted Yuvraj.
Yuvraj Singh had announced his retirement earlier from all types of international cricket on June 10, 2019. Playing for India, he had scored 1900 runs in Tests, 8701 in ODIs, and 1177 in T20s.
He played a key role in India’s triumph at the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ODI World Cup, where he was also awarded the ‘Man of the Tournament award.
