Brighton recovered a late point against Crystal Palace at home on Friday, and with their unbeaten run now at five games, they have a good chance of keeping Chelsea at away when they return on Wednesday.
The Seagulls began the season with a bang, and while their winning ways waned as the season proceeded, they remain in the top half of the Premier League, thanks in large part to their reputation as a difficult team to beat.
Chelsea discovered this soon after Christmas when they were beaten to a 1-1 draw at home by Brighton, and they have now won just one of their past six Premier League matches, following their setback at Manchester City on Saturday.
Their title prospects have all but vanished as a result of this. They are still in the second position, but are 13 points behind the defending champions, with third-placed Liverpool only a point behind them with two games in hand.
Brighton has only lost four competitive games this season, with one of those coming in the last nine, while Chelsea has only won one of their previous six league games. Betting on Brighton in the double chance betting appears to be good value.
