Burnley had another Premier League game postponed on Saturday, and while they will appreciate the extra break, the games ahead of them are building up, and the necessity for points in those games is putting even more pressure on Sean Dyche's relegation-threatened side.
The Clarets are now bottom of the Premier League with 11 points from 17 games, despite the fact that they have at least two games in hand on every other team in the bottom 10 and would easily avoid relegation if they win all of those games.
That, on the other hand, appears to be a long shot right now. They have lost their previous eight competitive games and have only one top-flight victory this season, not to mention the fact that famous striker Chris Wood has been sold to relegation rivals Newcastle.
Watford, on the other hand, are not in much better shape. The Hornets earned a point at Newcastle on Saturday, ending a seven-game losing streak in all competitions, but they are still only a point above the relegation zone and in poor form.
Claudio Ranieri's side has three quickfire games this week against all of their top relegation contenders. They have one point already, but a win against Burnley or Norwich this weekend will put them in a far better position.
Burnley has scored in each of their previous three games but has only had two clean sheets in their past 12, while Watford has seen both teams score in eight of their last nine games in all competitions and hasn't kept a clean sheet in any of their 19 Premier League games this season.
